  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil

For Masala Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp paprika or Kashmiri chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh cream
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – crushed
